E-Learning for Postdocs
The e-learning platform for your career development
For all postdocs who do not have time for full-day workshops or cannot find the right course in this semester's program:
With our new e-learning platform "Postdoc Learning Hub", you can learn about many important topics for postdocs in academia - whenever and wherever you want!
In two testing phases, you will get three months of access (incl. the kick-off with an introduction) to the largest education platform for postdocs and docs in German-speaking countries: TwentyOne Skills.

After the testing phases, we would like to invite you to participate in the final evaluation. If the evaluation is positive, the e-learning platform will be permanently embedded in the postdoc program.
What courses are available?
In addition to classic courses on project and time management and leadership, there will also be input on mental health, gender & diversity, new work, and much more. See here for an overview of all courses and a sneak peek.
Over 50 different courses [en/ger] are offered in different formats, such as:
- nuggets (learning time: approx. 20 min)
- deep dives (learning time: 3-4 hours in multiple small lessons)
- live sessions with experienced trainers (duration: 55 min)

How do you get access to the platform?
The registration takes place via HISinOne. It is best to register in time for the kick-off meeting of testing phase 1 or 2 so that you can start together as a group. That way, TwentyOne Skills can introduce you to the platform and provide you with the necessary information concerning live sessions and Q&As.
It is also possible to start at any time within the three-month phases (16 Oct. 2023 – 14 Jan. 2024 or 15 Jan. – 14 Apr. 2024), but it is strongly recommended to participate in the introduction event at the kick-off meeting.
